The best time to visit Yemen is October through March. If you go during the summer you should pack T-shirts, pants, and light colored dresses. There isn't an official law against it, but it is frowned upon to wear clothes that show to much skin. In the central highlands the yearly average high temperature is 70°F (or 21°C). It mostly rains from April to August and November to January.
